Overview
DaisyChain is adding a high-impact Business Development Manager who excels at hunting new business, closing inbound deals, networking, and driving revenue growth. You will be primarily responsible for expanding our multifamily client base, building deep relationships with larger property owners, and executing our sales playbook in the field.
What You'll Do
- Sales execution — execute the go-to-market strategy for the multifamily sector, actively targeting a wide range of New York-based multifamily property owners — from responding to inbound requests from individual owners to prospecting large owners, REITs, and large-scale property management companies
- Revenue generation — own the full sales cycle for key accounts, from cold outreach and prospecting through technical demos, collecting energy-usage data, closing deals, and managing client relations, consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales and revenue targets
- Pipeline & relationship management — maintain a robust, active pipeline of commercial opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers through regular outreach, site visits, conferences, and industry networking
- Market intelligence — act as a critical bridge between the market and the product team, gathering firsthand customer feedback on new features, market needs, and competitive intelligence
Qualifications
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) expertise — 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record targeting the New York commercial real estate or property management industry
- Multifamily network — a strong, established network and a proven track record of selling products or services directly to multifamily customers
- Technical sales aptitude — comfortable learning and pitching our energy software platform to executive-level stakeholders (VPs of Asset Management, Operations, Sustainability)
- Self-starter — highly motivated, comfortable managing your own daily sales activity, tracking KPIs, and driving deals across the finish line with minimal supervision
